Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God,which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Words that have been spoken to me on multiple occasions, and that were spoken over me again last night. Words that I needed to hear. Today, I am thankful for the friends and family in my life who speak truth to me.

This is one of my favourites, too. I used to be anxiety prone, but this truth seems to have replaced my worry with trusting peace. Sometimes it takes coming apart with the Lord for a time, especially when changing circumstances bring pain. But the Lord always answers my prayer. He's a very present help in trouble.
